About ASM — national asbestos specialists with regional teams across the UK
UKAS-accredited asbestos inspection and testing, professional sampling, air monitoring, asbestos management, removal and asbestos-in-soils support for homes, workplaces, estates and development projects across England, Scotland and Wales.
ASM handles the asbestos workstream. The wider F&I Group adds roofing, scaffolding, construction, safety systems, energy, home-improvement and residential-development capability.
One asbestos specialist from initial inspection to practical next steps
ASM supports homeowners, landlords, managing agents, dutyholders, construction teams, schools, healthcare, industrial clients, public-sector organisations and developers. The service is built around the decision the client needs to make—not around selling a generic survey.

Air monitoring & clearance

Asbestos removal
Controlled removal routes for non-licensed, notifiable non-licensed and licensable work, selected from the actual material and task.
Registers, plans & reinspection
Practical management information for dutyholders, estates teams, maintenance staff and contractors.

UKAS-accredited inspection and testing used accurately
Inspection — ISO/IEC 17020

Testing — ISO/IEC 17025
Defined asbestos testing activities are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Bulk asbestos identification is undertaken through the accredited laboratory at Sunderland Head Office.
