Asbestos Surveying and Monitoring Ltd provides UKAS accredited ISO/IEC 17025 asbestos bulk sample analysis from our laboratory based in Sunderland.
If you have a suspect material that requires testing, you can book your sample online and send it to our laboratory by post or courier. Our team will analyse the sample and issue a clear asbestos bulk analysis report confirming whether asbestos has been detected.
Samples are only classified as asbestos once they have been analysed and confirmed by a UKAS accredited laboratory.

How the Postal Bulk Sample Service Works
1. Complete the Online Booking Form
Submit your details, site information and sample description using the online form below. This allows us to book your sample into our system before it arrives at the laboratory.
2. Safely Package Your Sample
Place each sample in a sealed, clean sample bag and double-bagged in a second sample bag. We recommended this is then placed within a strong jiffy bag envelope (padded bubble wrapped). Clearly label each sample with a reference, location and material description so it matches the information submitted on your booking form with your name and address.
3. Post Your Sample to Our Sunderland Laboratory

4. Pay for your Samples
Use the payment link created by the form below to pay for your samples.
4. Laboratory Analysis and Report
Once received, your sample will be analysed by our asbestos laboratory. We will issue a report confirming whether asbestos has been detected and, where applicable, the asbestos type identified.
