The clearance indicator has a defined role within asbestos analytical work. It should not be described as a general safe level for all situations. Monitoring type, sampling strategy and interpretation must match the work, exposure question and applicable requirements.

No. Air monitoring measures airborne fibre concentration during the sampled period and conditions. It does not identify every ACM in the building.
