Interpreting results
Know what the fibre concentration does — and does not — mean
The current GB asbestos workplace control limit is 0.1 fibres/ml averaged over four hours. This is a separate concept from the clearance indicator and must not be confused with it.
A low air-test result does not mean a building is asbestos-free. Air monitoring records airborne fibre concentration during the defined sampling conditions; it does not locate every ACM.

Where a stage fails, the reason should be documented and remedial work / relevant clearance stages repeated before successful handback.
